Seed Exchange

The PCMG Seed Exchange is the name for the Polk County Master Gardeners' internal seed collection. It is a program by Master Gardeners, for Master Gardeners, designed to support PCMG projects and members by sharing seeds.

Any current Polk County Master Gardener may request seeds by emailing PCMGSeeds@gmail.com. Members are also encouraged to donate extra or unused seeds. By sharing internally, we can maximize our collective impact while minimizing costs. When donating seeds, please use the DONATION FORM to provide details about your seeds and to follow the recommended packaging guidelines.

Who can access seeds?

  • Any current Polk County Master Gardener for use in personal gardens
  • PCMG demonstration garden bed heads for use in PCMG public gardens
  • Any current Polk County Master Gardener for use in PCMG-supported community or school gardens
  • Any current Polk County Master Gardener for use in other PCMG-supported projects

AVAILABLE SEEDS

Visit the PCMG Seed List to see available seeds. See tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet for listings of Natives, Annuals, Vegetables, and Herbs. List updated periodically. Email PCMGSeeds@gmail.com for current availability and to arrange for seed pickup.
